Brandon Lowery has witnessed StepUp Ministry's impact from start to finish. After going through the Employment Training Workshop and graduating from Life Skills in March of 2014, Brandon has gone on to start three businesses of his own. He has given back to StepUp Ministry by devoting his time as a Co-Partner and is now in his second term as a board member!

Today we are thankful for our Real World participants!
Inspired by Kehinde Wiley, a portrait painter known for challenging the image and status of young African-American people in contemporary culture, the group created a mural paying homage to the legacies left behind by celebrities that inspire them. Responsible for the drawing and painting of the portraits, the very talented Franklin Irby laid the groundwork for the project.
With a little help from a few StepUp Ministry staff members, the mural now hangs on the wall in our office! We are grateful that Real World gives these young minds an environment to be creative and explore their interests!
