StepUp Ministry

mission

Greensboro

StepUp Ministry Greensboro is a local 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that provides job skills and life skills training to struggling individuals and families.  The goal of the program is to lead program participants to jobs, independence and stability.  StepUp accomplishes this by helping participants secure a job and build financial literacy, physical and mental health, and healthy relationships.  In addition, StepUp leadership engages a strong network of local businesses and partners to accomplish its work. In September 2013, the Greensboro program was honored as the first replication the Raleigh-based, best practice model, StepUp Ministry.

StepUp Ministry Greensboro serves as the umbrella for:

  • StepUp Jobs Readiness Program
  • StepUp Life Skills Programs for adult participants and their families
